From the LCF Board Of Directors:
As members of the Board of Directors of the Liturgical Composers Forum, we recently became aware of the allegations of sexual misconduct by David Haas. We, along with the Steering Committee of the Forum, have personally and professionally struggled to know how to respond.
Based on the reported allegations, David Haas’ membership in the Forum has been suspended and his monetary contributions to As Music Heals have been returned.
We pray for the Church and for our world, where power dynamics are out of balance and many people are suffering. We will continue to make efforts to bring God’s reign to this earth at this point of human history.
